Patricia Berry, MC, LAC
LICENSED ASSOCIATE COUNSELOR/BILINGUAL THERAPIST (SPANISH AND ENGLISH)
(she/her)
My approach to therapy is grounded in creating a warm, inclusive space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I view the counseling relationship as a collaborative journey where we explore life’s challenges with curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to growth. I strive to meet each client where they are, tailoring my therapeutic approach to align with their values, goals, and preferences.
I have experience supporting adults from diverse backgrounds through life transitions, anxiety, depression, disordered eating, trauma, and identity exploration. I hold a particular interest in working with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), disordered eating, and trauma-related concerns. I aim to create a space where clients feel empowered to better understand themselves and cultivate lasting change.
Clinically, I integrate a range of evidence-based approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. I also draw from person-centered and psychodynamic traditions to explore underlying emotional patterns and support deep, meaningful understanding and healing. I am also in the process of completing EMDR Basic Training.
I am especially passionate about serving communities that have historically faced barriers to mental health care, including Latinx and Spanish-speaking populations. As a bilingual clinician, I work to ensure that language and culture are honored in the therapeutic space.
Outside of the therapy room, you can find me exploring local coffee shops, recharging with painting, or watching dramas.
If you're curious about working together, I invite you to reach out and schedule a free 15-minute consultation. I'd be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
