Katie Plukas, MC, LAC
lLICENSED ASSOCIATE COUNSELOR
(she/her)
Is your heart overwhelmed by anxiety, shame, loneliness, or heartbreak? Perhaps you are navigating frustrating relationships, feel lost or misunderstood, or are haunted by memories that feel too painful to move on from. If you are searching for healing and solace in a non-judgmental space, I would love to be a part of your journey.
I use an eclectic blend of trauma-informed approaches, such as Internal Family Systems, somatic techniques, attachment theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and EMDR. I also include ideas from Art and Play therapies, and offer a Christ-centered approach to those who request it. No matter your background, you are cherished and welcome.
I work with adults and teens struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, shame, religious trauma, and crisis of faith.
I practice under the Clinical Supervision of Maraeca Butler, MC, LPC.
When I am not working, I love to garden, read, and spend quality time with friends & family. I've been married to my husband for 15 years, and together we have an energetic boy, a bouncy Golden Retriever, and a few fluffy backyard chickens.
If my profile resonates with you, I would love to connect! Please reach out to schedule a free consultation.
